Would the AFL be happy to see the back end of Hawks president Jeff Kennett?
As controversial as he maybe. i can think of a number of good things that the Hawks ex-pres has done.
He certainly put Tasmania on the AFL map. by introducing the 4 home games a season at Aurora stadium in Launceston. a town where i used to live when i was very young. & VFL footy was everything to the locals. they just loved their Aussie Rules.
But there was a dark side to this man. always out spoken when he saw something that he didn't agree with. sometimes just playing with Andrew Demetriou & co. daring them to speak out against him. now that i used to love!
Anyway what are your thoughts on this man. who has definitely left his mark on our game. in pretty much the same way as he did as premier of Victoria. many moons ago.
on the whole i would say he will be respected by most people, like him or not his influence has been undeniable. also fairly honest, wierd for a politician that is.
